Our Story

iVALT ® was founded by Baldev Krishan and Brian Stout in 2019 to address the uncontrollable problem of Identity Fraud. Replacing the 30+ year old identity authentication using usernames and passwords is insurmountable in the short term and it is unfixable with 2FA and other "band-aides". Hackers have countered every identity solution to date.

Baldev and Brian spoke with 100s of industry pundits, CEOs, CISOs and hackers themselves at the beginning to understand where the weaknesses were. They quickly understood that new technology is not the solution. Rather, the combinations of multiple "best available" identity technologies used in parallel and in real-time was the start to a solution. They determined also that adding unique (unknowable) user and authentication "dynamic context" variables would add exponential difficulty in tying to steal identity. To be successful, this needed to be delivered by 1-click by the authorized person at the endpoint.

While a tall order, iVALT was built as a mobile app capturing and verifying 5 or more variable in 1-click. Biometrics are verified first and then endpoint variables like device ID, GPS location, time, permissions and other dynamic variables are captured passively to match the risk profile of the enterprise use case. iVALT combines a mobile app with a SaaS based authentication engine for technology efficiency and highest security.

Our Approach

  • 5+ factors of identity in 1-click
  • Mobile biometrics as primary factor
  • Dynamic context variables
  • Real-time identity verification
